The Binghamton Broadcasters Reunion was founded in 2003 By Bob and Doris Huckabone. Since then, the annual, every other year Reunion has been attended by Radio and TV Broadcasters from all parts of the country.
The Binghamton Broadcasters Reunion is a free event, and is open to past, present and retired broadcasters and friends of Binghamon Media. Sales, Engineering, programming and office support staff and spouses and significant others are invited to attend.
If you are planning to attend, we'd like an approximate head count. Just drop a no-committment e-mail with your intentions to rayross@yahoo.com.
The reunion is a low key, informal event, which consists of three parts: An optional cash buffet, a cocktail hour for visiting, and a program with awards to outstanding Broadcasters.
In 2011, the Binghamton Broadcasters Reunion will take place at
the Binghamton Riverwalk Hotel formerly the Binghamton
Regency on Water Street in downtown Binghamton.
The evening will start at 530pm with the optional buffet, followed by converstation and visiting from 630 to 8pm, and the formal program around eight.
The cost for the optional buffet is a very reasonable $21.95. If you're planning on participating in the buffet, payment must be made in advance. Send a check for $21.95 per person to Ray Ross/Binghamton Reunion, PO Box 303, Endicott, NY 13760.
There will be a limited number of buffet walk-ups available for last minute people.
The Binghamton Riverwalk has made available rooms at special rate for those coming from out of town. Please contact the Binghamton Riverwalk if you are planning to stay there.
